DIRTY PRETTY THINGS

Channel 4/E4 has just pleased my eyes with a hell of a lot of good looking human beings.
After only just getting through the last stages of mourning the end of The Model Agency.
E4 have kindly allowed me to continue my fascination with beautiful people through their new Concept Doc, DirtyPrettyThings.
The show in a nut shell is a documentary that is based around Dazed and Confused ex photographer Perou.
Perou is a fashion photographer and a curator.
For a new exhibition idea he wants to create photos with models that stand out and that reach new boundaries to audiences. he wants to challenge the up and coming eight models and see just how far he can push them to make them reach their full potential.
Have a well deserved perv below on the 8 lush humans.

Dirty Pretty Things

Jay my favorite, think I'm crazy in love right now.

Charlotte, potential new girl crush.
The first shoot was an underwear shoot on location, the models were thrown into the middle of London in freezing cold temperatures to be photographed against some of Londons famous icons.
Perou is a genius with this picture, I love the way how the location and colours of the underwear are all heavily scripted and planned however this contrasts with the naturalistic behaviour of the models and how their actions just happen to look like they have been caught on camera by accident. You can see this by the way the model on the end isn't even looking at the camera and is re adjusting her bra.

And one more for you.
This one was taken on Millenium Bridge.
I like the way the handbag is being held over jays pants, it adds some comedy to a rather stern shot.

RECENT

Its been a while!
I've been busy graduating and doing work experience with Channel 4 I'm also back at work with the new Hague Yang exhibition which people should come and check out.Hague Manages to draw a personality from a simple object such as a drying board... Yep Modern Art.

For Work experience I went to Stoke on Trent for the day to help out with channels 4 inspiration day although i didn't really do much i just signed people in and took photos for the channel 4 Facebook page it was still a great opportunity to work with people with the same passions as myself. It was also a big motivation kick to not give up just try harder in future applications.

Excuse me for this really boring post but here are some yummy pics I took for the 4talent page.

And a cheeky graduation pic.

STYLE THE NATION

Today marked the first show of New Look Style the Nation. Nick Grimshaw takes to the streets of major city's and picks out the most stylish to put forwards to win their dream job as a stylist with New Look.
Today's finalist was Caia a 24yr old student from Nottingham who finds her inspiration in the form of The Natural History Museum and her mum....OK sounds odd but it works she is effortlessly stylish.
First thing to note about the show.....Heels? Festival and Beach? clearly these girls have not been to the same Festivals I have.
Check out the show
