BOY LONDON

Every magazine you look through it seems hard to escape this latest craze and even more so if you're walking through East London.

 Yes I'm talking about those BOY London T-shirts, they might seem like a new phenomenon, however BOY London has actually been around since the 1970's. The brand was once renowned for being worn by punks and new romantics.

George Michael, The Pet Shop Boys and even Andy Warhol could be found wearing the iconic eagle on themselves. The Brand died out quite quickly in the 1980's but now with the help of Urban Outfitters and celebs like Rhianna walking around head to toe in the brand, Boy London are back.

I can't quite help but think kids don't quite get the meaning of this brand and are simply looking up to their idols like Cher Lloyd and Jessie J.
BOY London is brand that speaks out about being part of a special,almost broken collective (the eagle represents a tribe) , One Blog quoted "I'm Beautiful, but I'm damaged goods"

Its quite ironic how a brand has gone from punk to pop culture.

I would love to get my hands on some vintage pieces from 80's as I'm sure all other fashion addicts are, that is my next vintage mission.
