I've had a really good week on eBay, after making another £100 but realising id sold 60% of my wardrobe Hannah and I decided a trip to London was in order.
First stop was of course Oxford Street and after a long stroll we finally reached our main destination of the day, Topshop Oxford Circus.
I always find the sheer overwhelming of beautiful items everywhere too much and even after 2 hours i only walked out with two things, two things that i could of brought in any Topshop. But the reason i love Oxford Circus so much is looking at what other people are wearing, everyone seems to shop in confidence where as i seem to look like a frightened rabbit about to get hit by car.
After hitting Topshop with a disappointing lack of shopping bags we went to Urban Outfitters where again everyone is beautiful and well dressed. The staff all look like they attend shit electro nights and have rolled around in expensive yet looks like your granny would wear knitwear, which of course i see nothing wrong with!
I love this shop but never seem to end up buying anything. there were a few things that caught my eye but nothing that screamed out "YOU NEED TO BUY ME" In fact the only thing that really yelled out to me was these salt and pepper bird shakers, they look so retro and cute yet totally gross.
The ultimate highlight of my day was going to Lucy in Disguise, Lilly Allen and her sister and Sarah Owen's store. Ive been totally hooked on her documentary of the opening of her store and was more than keen to see the shop in its real life form. I also hold a massive girl crush on Sarah mostly though i want her hair! As we walked in, it was clear that we were not the only ones who went to fuel our curiosity with no intention to buy! people were posing for pictures outside and walking around with a look of wow on their faces.
The shop was beautiful, it had some really special touches to it, vintage book cases, sparkling chandeliers and for the men who tire of lugging around with their girlies a area just for them with leather sofas and a games console.
But to the important part, the clothes. Yes they were beautiful they also had a large price tag to match, they were merchandised fabulously, Ossie Clark dresses all over the place but with the touch of selling Lilly's personal clothes i found this to be a bit too much like living off a famous name, fair enough its her shop but £850 for a dress that Lilly had thrown her vodka and coke down herself, i thought was a bit extreme.

So after a long day in London i walked away with 3 tops a pair of camel leggings a new bag and not to mention a huge belly from the intake of calories me and Hannah inhaled in TGI Fridays. It also took us an hour just to find Piccadilly Circus when we were stood 2 minutes away from it which was rather amusing.
