OH NANNA

Forget Style Snapping the young and trendy after all our elders have probably once in our lives influenced our fashion sense. Simply just if you're a fan of vintage this is the case.
After buying the July issue of Company Mag and having a flicker though I stumbled across the article about this amazing blogger Ari Seth Cohen who simply had such a strong connections with his grandmas and a passion for fashion he decided to do something different and take to the streets to snap up some glamorous Granny's.
These Granny's and Grandpas are sure as hell making a statement.
Check out some of these amazing yummy elders.

HEART ON MY SLEEVE

This week has come to an end, unfortunately at the end is a dose of self pity and some throat infection.
I went to Brighton for a much needed get away and to stay with Lewi for a few days of being a geeky tourist and catch ups.
I mooched around London and had a perv at all the jubilee window displays and on my way back ended up on a spontaneous night out in oxford with my modern arties.Of course this resulted in a very uncomfortable rum coma.
Last night I went out with my oldest friends for a very nostalgic evening full of stories and memories and to top it off this morning I watched the sunrise and had a champagne breakfast with my best friend and her beautiful little girl.
Surreal week to say the least!
I'm pretty lucky when it comes to having friends.

STYLESPOT IIII FIELD DAY LONDON

I apologise in advance for my lack of effort in this post.
I'm pretty disappointed that my Stylespot mission was taken over by mostly cider, but I did actually see some bands at a festival for once.
What I will say is that not many people caught my eye at all, it was pretty much a Urban Outfitters orgy mixed with try hard outfits and double denim up to your eye balls.
But these ladies had the right idea and went for mixing vintage with their outfits which made them stand out and gave their outfit an identity.
Yes I know crowds of thousands and I found three (one being my beautiful friend Laura) is pretty pathetic but I'm not going to lie the cider took over.
