Country bumpkin

My biggest eBay mission yet.......... To find a decent vintage Barbour. I've seen them in vintage shops but they are still selling for around £100. The cheapest I've ever seen is reading festival in the Oxfam tent for a Bargain price of a tenner but it was a mans large.
I remember being a child and owning one and hating my mother for making me wear one and the stench of wax when it got wet, now I'm desperate for one!

Alexa does country bumpkin
Standard Beadnell Barbour Retail £199.

so far winning £21.00 4 hours left.

So far on eBay i have been outbid on every occasion. I lost last night in 3 seconds I thought I had one for £72 but in the remaining seconds it sold for £92 but fear not I have found another one and I'm winning and I'm not leaving the house until the auction is over!

This one is identical to the one i had as a child and I'm determined to win, its literally perfect for festival season and summer late nights outside.

A preppy graduation

It's my graduation soon one of the most poignant days of my life also i'm going to have a camera pointed in my face from all family members from every direction so looking good is vital so the photo looks good on my Mumma's mantelpiece.
To make my life easier Topshop have created a Graduation collection which I've fallen for its full of camel shades, yellows, browns and stripes wrapped in a preppy bow.
The key I'm getting from this is wear with confidence and you will look great also wear with lashings of red lippy.

Here are some of my faves from the collection i literally want all of them but unfortunately the downfall of graduation means no more Mr student Topshop loan.

Don't forget the red lippy for that ultimate confidence smack.
I've never been a heel person but I'm starting to sway I  love this suede style brogue with a smallish heel. This collection is so varied I can definitely see it belonging to my wardrobe.

Happy shopper

After a disastrous trip to London resulting in a lost bank card, a massive champagne, beer, wine anything we got our hands on hangover and wandering around lost somewhere near Finsbury park, it was only right to reward this stupidity of losing my mind and bank card on a few yummy items when the new card came through the post and also for behaving when i entered the bliss that it Oxford Street Topshop.

My Mecca
Witney is pretty useless for shopping and if you asked me a few months ago to admit to shopping in New Look i would lie as it used to be full of total uninspiring tat, not only that but being one of the only semi decent women's clothes shop here women tend to look like a pack of clones. But recently New Look has presented my small market town with some killer buys.

But last week New Look did me proud i came away a very happy customer after bagging these high wasted peachy trousers and the black blouse with metallic buttons the price was a pretty tasty  £37.98.

Oh Fearne

Never thought i would ever look to Fearne Cotton for inspiration as i find her overly irritating but gotta give it to her she has good taste in clothes, these are my favorite outfits from her style blog on radio 1 which i have to add is done with little enthusiasm luckily the pictures say it better.
